About Me
California, Alsace, and Beijing have etched themselves into my creative DNA—three distinct worlds that have fundamentally shaped my artistic perspective.
In my larger works, I strip natural wonders down to their most essential visual power. The smaller pieces come more from my heart as the minute details become charged fragments of memory and understanding. My paintings are the diary of my life, where I get to remember, and cherish all I’ve experienced and expand who I am.
Sharing my work feels like a natural way to invite connection, I hope it feels that way for you too.

Acrylic and Pastel

Acrylics are ingenious partners, versatile, malleable, mixable, and allow for multiple do-overs.
Pastels give me the feeling of drawing, being closer to the canvas feeling its tooth in comparison to the fluidity of paint and the smoothness of a brush.
A Note to Artists
In addition to painting... My daily practice includes lingering over and appreciating other’s artwork. This simple act enhances my wellbeing much like a prayer, or meditation. I'm grateful to share the journey of a creative life alongside artists around the world. Most of them will never know how they've shaped me—silent teachers whose courage to vulnerably paint and share their stories has become my inspiration. My own creative contribution is a direct result of their openness. They are my virtual community, illuminating my path. May they experience the same abundance, recognition, and deep gratitude that they've unknowingly extended to me.
